KangaROOS x Schrittmacher SHEILD OG MiG "Stollen"
Together with the German sneaker store "Schrittmacher" KangaROOS have come up with a joint project bringing together the ingredients to recreate the traditional holiday season pastry "Stollen" to a pair of sneakers. The Christmas Stollen, a particularly rich butter raisin Stollen is cultural history, a centuries-old baking tradition, lived passion and above all it's a maximum treat.
For centuries, bakers and confectioners have passed this recipe from generation to generation. These and the unique composition of the organic ingredients are the secret of the incomparable stollen taste.
The shoe of choice is a retro ROOS runner the "SHEILD OG" and with each pair there will be a 200g "Schrittmacher Stollen“ Treat. The colour gradient of the shoe is based on the main components of the stollen, citronate, orange peel, raisins and, of course, plenty of powdered sugar.
This festive Made In Germany release is extremely limited to just 303 pairs worldwide and will be available online, 13th December 2019 at 11PM GMT and in store from 10AM Saturday 14th December 2019
